About Me
I am a retired Insurance Company employee with a long history of accomplishments. Mine is a somewhat typical story of immigrants with one exception - I did not come to the US seeking to pursue a career in the prime of my youth. I came to the US seeking neither fame nor fortune. Rather, I came as a retiree with my wife so that I could spend the rest of my golden years with my children and grandchildren. I am a gardener, a raconteur, internet prowler, and an author of this blog about a variety of topics. My work focuses on helping readers find their voice and use language as a tool to increase resiliency, create economic opportunity, and increase their confidence in their career and life.
Born and domiciled in Bangalore for a long time but widely traveled in India and the US and now residing in San Ramon, my background heavily influences my work, and this collection of chronicle posts details my journey on how I used my language skills in creative ways to permanently alter the course of my life. My feet are definitely smaller than yours, and I have never consumed alcohol—unless it was added to a cake, of course, because as long as it is to celebrate someone or something, why should it matter?
I frequently post to my facebook page and this site is a curated, hyperlinked digital compendium of some of my Chronicle posts maintained by my son, Jayaram.
